AT&T Not What It Was
In 1983, AT&T had 1,009,000 employees! That's over one million! On January 1, 1984, AT&T had 373,000 employees. Of course, that was the day the Modified Final Judgement took effect, which broke up AT&T. Today, AT&T has 61,600 employees, and falling.
